For the longest time I was involved in a long distance relationship. Never a good idea. I had some people try and tell me a few things but ultimately I stayed. I didn't have it in me to end a relationship. I don't know why I became that way but essentially I did not want to cause another pain, so I developed a pattern where I would not end a relationship no matter how hard it was.

The Gold Standard
I've been wanting to do this blog for some time, really it has been something that I have wanted to say but I didn't know if I should do it on video or here in this blog. I really enjoy blogging but sadly the view counts I get here are less than motivational. Some of my blogs I have spend days working on, this one has been a month of brainstorming and writing and rewriting. For all of this I might hit 100 views. Meanwhile I could film myself barking at a tree and get a couple thousand views. Anyway, I decided that doing this as a blog would be better as I think I might get to emotional doing this story on camera.

Re: the shallow narcissism of female youtube entrepreneurs
Hey Red Pill Grumm, 2012 called and they want their Reply Girls back. I was doing research for another article I posted today http://happycabbie.blogspot.com/2014/09/harassment-is-part-of-internet.html and part of that including digging up a reference from the manosphere website ReturnofKings where I found this article. http://www.returnofkings.com/43795/the-shallow-narcissism-of-female-youtube-entrepreneurs
Long story short, the author Red Pill Grumm believes that women who flaunt their sexuality to get views and adsense money from YouTube are wrong and that it is MEN who actually produce things of substance.

TheFineBros on Rape Culture
Ok I swear I am not making this up. The FineBrothers actually tweeted this.
"In light of recent controversy on YouTube today, today's Teens React is important to watch as it relates to discussion about rape culture."Then as I was expecting them to tweet out a serious topic they then posted this.
"Objectification of women is something not discussed enough, and hope this episode helps in the conversation. http://goo.gl/gyvbF1 "That tweet linked to this video.

Harassment is part of the Internet
This is a response and refutation to the article posted by S. E. Smith of the DailyDot and the Kernal. The same opinion piece was posted to both sites but here is the link to the Kernal and I would encourage you to read it first and come back here. The page will open in a new tab. I could not disagree more with the premise of the opinion piece. My biggest problem with the article is that it portrays women as helpless victims who are at the mercy of the worst parts of the internet.
To be a woman, or someone perceived as such, online is to be considered fair game for virulent misogyny that includes being sent graphic images (some very creatively photoshopped), violent speech, and personally identifying information that serves as a reminder that your stalkers are only a few steps aware.

These 14 gestures are NOT creepy
If you want a good laugh read http://madamenoire.com/290330/14-gestures-we-wish-men-knew-are-just-creepy/ There really is no other way to describe my reaction. Some of the 14 items and the reason the author, Julia Austin, thinks they are creepy is so silly it is beyond all logic. Allow me to show you the introduction.
"Chivalry may not be dead, but sometimes it takes on the form of a stalker, or at the very least a creeper. Guys: we know you’re trying to be nice, but these gestures actually just send us running for the hills."
If you learn nothing else from this blog, ladies and gentlemen, is to be careful when taking dating advice from the other team. Actions speak louder than words. Observe what people do, not what they say. For example, many ladies say they want to meat a nice guy with a steady job, yet many times they go for the bad boy with a lousy job. More on this at the conclusion of this article.

Rape Victim Denied Justice Because of Her Looks?
Today on Twitter I saw a post from my friend Vogter2100. The video linked to a facebook video of a young woman who is upset that the case against her rapist was dropped. Below is the video hosted on Facebook.
