A foot lover's paradise

Feet lovers often enjoy different things.  Some enjoy high heels, others such as myself do not.  Many are submissive while I am a dominant and prefer to be in charge of bedroom play.  However, as there are countless videos showing off women's feet I wanted to highlight some of the best of the best, to show others who may be motivated to show off their feet what a good foot video really is.  I do consider this to be an educational tool as I have found many ladies having trouble finding out what to do.  This is a guide for them.

To the ladies who decide that they want to make videos showing off their feet I would like to say thank you. There is no such thing as a bad foot video, so don't take this blog as a criticism.  Rather the purpose of this blog is to help you make your videos better and to celebrate the love of women's feet.

First a special credit to just about the best foot video out there.  Lovette's Foot Tease 3

Re: the shallow narcissism of female youtube entrepreneurs

Hey Red Pill Grumm, 2012 called and they want their Reply Girls back.  I was doing research for another article I posted today http://happycabbie.blogspot.com/2014/09/harassment-is-part-of-internet.html and part of that including digging up a reference from the manosphere website ReturnofKings where I found this article.  http://www.returnofkings.com/43795/the-shallow-narcissism-of-female-youtube-entrepreneurs

Long story short, the author Red Pill Grumm believes that women who flaunt their sexuality to get views and adsense money from YouTube are wrong and that it is MEN who actually produce things of substance.

My review of Google Glass

At the Google Top Contributor Summit in San Jose California we were given a demonstration of Google Glass.  Now if you don't know what the Top Contributor Summit is you can read about it via the posts on Google Plus or via twitter at #TCSummit2013  As for me I am still waiting to clear stuff with Google as I want to share as much as I can but I need to clear some stuff past Non Disclosure Agreements.  Last time in 2011 this took a few weeks.

Anyway, the people from Google Glass tweeted at me expressing interest in my thoughts on their product, so this gives me the green light to share with you all.

At the TC Summit Sarah Price gave the introduction and explained how the Google Glass was developed. This part of the lecture is probably covered by NDA so I won't share it unless someone from Glass authorizes me.  They can contact me via twitter.  I can say that it has a titanium frame but is flexible enough that Sarah Price was able to take and bend it without damaging it.

We were then given a demonstration by two engineers.  I wrote their names down but I will keep them private unless I get authorization to release them.  Sadly they were unable at first to sync up the Google Glass to the view screens.

FYI to the right of the picture you see some cubicles.  These were translators who were translating the conference in 16 different languages.  To prevent 16 languages from being distracting to each other, these cubicles were soundproof.  The people from other countries listened in via headsets.

Well needless to say, they got Google Glass to sync up with the video screens.  Nobody took a picture of it, which is fine as I don't think we were supposed to be taking pictures anyway.  However here is everyone talking after the presentation.

Here is my initial reaction.  The two men with the technical issues were engineers for the Glass Team.  Once they got the Glass to interface with the overhead screens they still had problems.  However, the problems were with using Google Glass.  The 4th guy on the right of the picture above, gave a talk about how Glass can improve worker efficiency.  However, if two engineers who helped design the product had trouble using the device, then they still have a long way to go before Glass does things such as replace the computer workstation or smart phone.

The smart phone is fast and reliable.  Computer work stations also have large screens that are visable and full of detail.  Wearing the Google Glass was very comfortable, but I was expecting the screen to be a bit larger on my eye ball.  It was very small and I had to look up to view it.  Essentially the issue would be for me to train my eyes to interact with Google Glass.

Later that day, at the dinner party members of the Google Glass team took the time to give each of us a chance to try out Google Glass.  Below is me doing a video of that.  Because I no longer have a YouTube channel, click here to find out why, it is on someone else's channel.

For some reason I was expecting Google Glass to work like this.

Needless to say, even though this blog post is somewhat critical of Google Glass, we must remember it is a NEW technology.  I hope the Glass team takes my review in the constructive way it was intended and continues to work on a better product.  After all it was just a few years ago that a major cell phone carrier used "Can You Hear Me Now?" as their slogan.  Now we find it unusual when we can't get a good signal.

In the next few years I expect Google Glass to not only become cheaper, but also far more efficient and who knows maybe one day it will replace the computer workstation or smart phone.

Feel free to share this blog and tweet it out via twitter.

Class Action Lawsuit Against YouTube

Recently I was contacted via twitter by GeoGodley who wanted to know if I would be interested in joining him in his class action lawsuit against YouTube.  I had to decline for several reasons.  First, YouTube's decision to terminate my account was justified.  I violated YouTube's trademark policy and the only course of action for them was to terminate my account.  You can read the full report about YouTube's decision HERE.  Likewise the other channels such as TheHealthyChannel were taken down for copyright violations.

Why YouTube is wrong about video responses

About an hour ago YouTube announced this on their blog.

http://youtubecreator.blogspot.com/2013/08/so-long-video-responsesnext-up-better.html

Essentially they are going to retire video responses on September 12th and allow people to post links to videos in the comments.  Something they tried in 2005 and was scrapped due to the amount of spam it generated.  http://youtube-global.blogspot.com/2005/07/attach-video-to-messages-if-you-want-to.html#comment-form.

First I must call bull winkle on the claim that 1 out of 4 million users will click on a video response.  This is just simply not possible.  My suspicion is that as most views go through Vevo and music videos (who allow people to attach video responses freely) this is the source of your stats.

However those who engage in their audience have a much different track record.

I built my channel on video responses.  A third of my videos were video responses.  I knew where the views came from because I tracked my analytics.  They came from people who first saw the video I was responding to.

I also regurlary cross promoted my videos by posting responses to myself.  It is how I was able to get a high click through rate.  When someone found my video they were always directed to another.  Remember 40 percent of my views comes from mobile users who can't use annotations.

Likewise people got views from attaching their videos to mine.  One of my critics Rith once claimed that I was irrelevant and yet his most viewed video was a video response to me.

It is not enough to allow people to post links in the comments section.  Remember why YouTube disabled this feature in the first place.  Spam.  As a content creator and consumer I relied on video responses.  Please reverse this decision.

Remember even the great Shaycarl got his start via video responses.  The one in 4 million stat is bogus as the numbers simply don't add up.  People do watch video responses.  Don't take this away YouTube.

Furthermore, as a person who would sometimes get over a hundred comments on a video, it would just cause chaos.  As a content creator it is far more efficient to focus on people who took the time to create and upload a video response to me.  How does YouTube expect large channels such as PewDiePie, Smosh, ect to focus on reponses when they can get thousands of comments every hour?

For historical record, YouTube launched video responses in 2006

http://youtube-global.blogspot.com/2006/05/video-responses.html

One final note, pass along to whoever runs the Creator Blog to undo the change that mandates you MUST have a Google Plus account in order to comment on the blog.  I have a blogger account, a Google product.  That should be good enough.

(Side note:  I do not allow comments on my blog based on advice from Google staff, user generated content such as comments can put my blogger at risk.)

Send your feedback to YouTube with this twitter link.

Why TheHealthyChannel was terminated

As some of you may know I had a channel called TheHealthyChannel where I vlogged about my diet attempts, exercise and weight loss.  Recently I was vlogging about doing a water fast.

Yesterday I discovered that account was terminated by YouTube.  For a time I believed it was due to my videos on water fasting as it could have been perceived as doing something that can be dangerous.

I filled out YouTube's account termination inquiry forum and learned that the channel was targeted for copyright violations.  See below.

Now this has some good news and some bad news.  The good news is that now that I know the issue is copyright, all I have to do to regain my account is fill out the appropriate counter-notice.  Per the 1998 DMCA law, YouTube must restore my account within 10-14 business days of receipt of a counter-notice so long as the claimant does not file a motion in Federal District Court.

The bad news is this email neglected to tell me the URLs that I require to correctly fill out the counter-notice form.  Until I get the URLs I am unable to correctly fill in the legally required information for a counter-notice.

I will keep you updated on my status, but for now the only way to contact me is via twitter.  Per YouTube's rules I am prohibited from accessing my other accounts that I still have and I am prohibited from creating new ones.

UPDATE:  I got this email regarding SockPuppetBalloon, one of my test accounts.  I used this account to test out different features from time to time.  As with TheHealthyChannel the issue is copyright, but no URLs for me to fill out the counter-notice.

My confession, Brett Keane Extortion

I must confess a dark secret. It has recently come to light that YouTube staff regularly has skype calls with Brett Keane as they have no choice but to comply with his demands. I don't know how Brett Keane managed to get this dirt he has on me and those in the YouTube home office but for the past year Brett Keane has been extorting us all. If we fail to comply with his demands to remove content per his requests he will post the dirt to his website of over 1,000 members.

End to the videos?

Well the title is no joke, I think it is time I stop posting videos. I have met many wonderful friends via YouTube and many of them I have met in real life. My videos have gotten me on national television and even noticed on Ripley's Believe it or Not blog.

Over the past several months I have been realizing that YouTubers having vlog wars has been happening more and more among those I respect. Recently they have been acting like children.

In addition about a year ago I started losing friends. It is not something I handle very well and right now it appears that the only way to prevent the loss of any more friends is to simply stop posting videos.

Now does this mean that I will never post videos again. Probably not. However, I may decide to create a new channel and just do my videos from behind a mask and start all over. My videos and my actions have hurt too many of my friends and I don't want to lose any more friendships. Friendships mean more to me than anything else.

An open letter to TGN and other Networks

Ever since the launch of the Partner Program in 2007 there was the lust for greed when it comes to the type of videos you could make. In 2008 when this program was expanded and again in 2011 when the ability to monetize videos was given out to everyone, the problem got worse and worse.

A year ago, there was a tragic shooting in Tuscon, AZ about 2 hours away from where I lived. Like so many tragedies before it, there were countless YouTubers who were making money by rushing to the camera as quickly as possible to be the first to report it. Below is my video and I do hope all of you watch it.

This is where the Networks come in. See, with the trend now, almost all of the view whores who cash in on people's deaths and tragedy are in networks. To my knowledge none are in TGN, but it is possible. It is not just the YouTuber who makes a profit from this blood money, and it is not just YouTube either. The Networks take a cut each time someone dies and these people seek to make money from it.

Below is a few examples of the type of videos I am talking about. Some are with Maker Studios and others are with Machinima.

Now the supporters of these large and successful channels will say that the media also makes money from death and tragedy. Well to them I say I also cry foul on tabloid journalism. I am actually friends with Hemijeep19 and iShatonU, the difference is they openly admit to being view whores. iShatonU even apologized after he was called out for his video profiting from the death at the winter olympics. Other people try to defend their actions claiming that this is how they feed their family and that we are just jealous because we can't beat them in Call of Duty. I swear someone made that claim.

So what is the solution? Well flagging the video doesn't quite work, as these videos in themselves don't violate the TOS. Rather I think the solution is for these Networks to adopt a policy that they will not allow themselves to profit from blood money. For this purpose I call upon my own Network TGN to step up and be the first to institute this policy.

I call upon TGN to issue a public statement that they will not allow their users to exploit death and tragedy for profit. Any user who is caught doing so will have the video demonetized and repeat offenders will be removed from the network.

If you agree with this policy, I would encourage you to forward it on to the network you are a part of. Encourage them to step up and do the right thing and work to put an end to making a living from blood money.

The day I uploaded naughty videos to YouTube

So last week I was clearing files out of my hard drive and moving those that I wanted to save to my external hard drive. I came across a video in a Mpeg format titled 171813. Now my computer is not capable of playing Mpegs so the only way to find out what this video is was for me to upload it somewhere.

Like an idiot I uploaded the video to YouTube never expecting it to be adult content. I have DVDs that I have purchased and of course some sites bookmarked. For my favorite content I have a folder in my external hard drive.

Irregardless I uploaded the video to private and sat and did other things while the video was loading. When I went back to check the status I discovered that not only was the video finished but it also was published LIVE to my subscribers!!!!

I could tell right by the thumbnail that it was adult content I quickly went to my video manager and hit the delete button. The video had only 4 views and only one comment on it. Thankfully it was uploaded in the middle of the night and the majority of my viewers reside in the continental US.

The next few days I sat by may computer and waited. Hoping that nobody hit that flag button. Well a week has gone by and it looks like I dodged that bullet. Boy was I stupid. Had I been flagged I would have lost my account for sure. YouTube doesn't play around when it comes to adult videos.

I just thought I would share this silly moment of my life with you guys. Thanks for reading.

#SaveYouTube?

Recently a lot of YouTube Partners have been complaining about a drop in views and a drop in subscribers. To hear YouTube's explanation of the subscriber drop click here. http://youtubecreator.blogspot.com/2012/05/update-on-subscriber-counts.html Now I support this decision by YouTube, however I have been hearing about some active accounts being unsubscribed. A video about that will be out later this week.

Some people are even posting that this will somehow cause them to stop making videos. Sorry, but I have to call bullwinkle on that. If you won't post videos unless you are popular then perhaps you need to step aside for those of us who realize that life isn't fair and sometimes it takes hard work to get ahead. However I don't intend to claim that everything is perfect and the purpose of this blog is to highlight what I think is not working and what steps YouTube should make to make things better for those of us who post videos.

AsheIsTheRaven doesn't want me talking to people he doesn't like

11 days ago a user known as AsheIsTheRaven began following me on twitter and has been hounding me ever since. Here is the screen shot of his following me date.

He began following me after I uploaded a video of a peaceful skype conversation with Brett Keane, a person who previously had claimed he was doing everything he could to get me kicked off of YouTube and have my AdSense disabled. Here is where I see a sense of Hypocrisy on AsheIsTheRaven's part. One simple glance at his channel, and you will see that he has no problem posting videos about Brett Keane. However his grief is that I had a peaceful skype conversation.

Now in case you are claiming that this was in the past and that AsheIsTheRaven is no longer posting videos about Brett Keane, then why was this video posted 38 minutes ago

Furthermore when you search the words Brett Keane on his channel, 7 videos pop up. Some of these may be due to having Brett Keane in the tags though but it is clear that AsheIsTheRaven has no problem discussing Brett Keane.

So why is AsheIsTheRaven, now known as FatalError404TV promoting Brett Keane and giving him recognition. Why is it that FatalError404TV can make about Brett Keane but I can not have a skype conversation. Furthermore, where was FatalError404TV last month when I was making several videos towards Brett Keane asking him questions. Why did he only get upset when I had a civil discussion with Brett Keane that he all of a sudden go on a tizzyfit.

I later had a discussion with him on BlogTV about this and sadly he was not able to make a valid point other than claim that it was NOT about the skype conversation but yet he was not able to explain why he only got upset when the skype conversation was posted.

Then out of the blue AsheIsTheRaven started tweeting at me again and I eventually logged on to skype attempting to figure out what I had done this time to upset him. Here is our exchange

[11:18:18 PM] Happy Cabbie: I am online if you want to call me
[11:21:04 PM] AsheIsTheRaven: I do not want totalk anymore. Not to you especially. There is no point. You and brett seem to be getting on just dandy, I nearly lost my kid becasue of those two, had you left it alone and IGNORED HIM, a lotof this might hve been avided, inseatd you validated him now leave me alone. Rith is pissed for the right reason, napalm, everyone else. No more games cabbie, real people here, real fucking people and you just cared about bad videos about you. good bye

Where here is my question to you then AsheIsTheRaven, where where you when Brett Keane was threatening my AdSense. Where where you when Brett Keane was threatening to try and flag me down. I will tell you where you were, nowhere. Why should you be. The issue was between Brett Keane and myself and did not concern you. I am not subscribed to you or Brett Keane so obviously I would not be aware of anything going on between you. Brett Keane should not have tried to take your children away from you, I agree, however I don't know the facts on that case. Obviously I wouldn't get involved.

Now when Brett Keane did accuse someone else of child abuse see the blog post here I did know the facts and I called him out on it. As far as me ignoring him I have done nothing more than you or anyone else had been doing at that time. Brett Keane was NOT being ignored as you previously claim on twitter. If you don't believe me all you have to do is ask Napalm and he will tell you that he was making videos almost every day about Brett right up until he closed his channel. Furthermore you posted a video 38 minutes ago.

So if you want to have a peaceful discussion I am more than welcome to speak to you but your childish and selfish behavior is that of a 10 year old who just can't get his way. Rather than conduct yourself as an adult you seem to be content to shout and throw tantrums like a child.

Google+ Hangouts On Air: broadcast your conversation to the world

Today Google announced on their blog http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2012/05/google-hangouts-on-air-broadcast-your.html that users with Google Plus accounts can now begin Livestreaming and even have this stream on their YouTube channel.

This is some good news for those who do not yet have LIVE streaming on their YouTube channel. Previously Google Hangouts were limited to about 10 users but now you can pretty much do a whole show.

Alex Jones and Copyright

My good friend MyRealityBytes alerted me to this video. While I normally take issue with the wild accusations Alex Jones is famous for, much of what he says in this video is accurate. The one thing that is NOT accurate is his claim that he is in danger of losing his account. This is because there is a difference between Copyright and Content ID which I will explain below.

YouTube Adsense Questions Answered

Two months ago I posted the video embedded below.  I had a rare chance to ask some questions to AdSense support team.  I decided to allow my viewers to submit their own questions

Now obviously not all questions could be answered.  Essentially what I told the people I was talking to that any answer I got would be made public, so only answer what could be made public.  Below is their answers.  I would like to remind everyone that this blog post is NOT a replacement for the
Terms of Service for AdSense or the Terms of Service for YouTube for
or

Therefore, even though these answers came from AdSense staff your best bet is to refer to the Terms of Service.

Video Bumping on YouTube

To those who are getting your subscription boxes flooded, let me explain. If you recall for My April Fools Prank I made it look like my channel was hacked. To do this I had to private all of my videos. Now I am making them public again. Sadly this is resulting in old videos even some 4 years old being published as New Videos. If you can deal with it for about 12 more hours I will be done.

I have reported this issue to YouTube as obviously this is a way to cheat the system if more people started doing this. As you know the subscription box only holds 14 videos so if a Partner wanted to get more views all he had to do is private and unprivate a video and it would go right to the top, bumping off other people who are not cheating.

YouTube has since responded to me and they are working on a fix to solve this issue. In the meantime all I can do is ask for your continued patience. I should be done in about 12 hours. You guys rock. About 8 months ago the video gaming community broke the story on video bumping and YouTube quickly patched it. However with the recent redesign of the YouTube homepage, it looks like this exploit is back. It will take about a week or so for YouTube to fix it. They usually push out fixes on Wednesday which has already past so we will have to wait for next week. This is why this glitch needs to be fixed. YouTube sadly is now all about money. Money comes from views so naturally greed will cause people to exploit whatever tricks they can do in order to get more views for themselves. Having your videos constantly at the top of your Subscriber's homepage is one way to increase views. This is so much more true now that the YouTube hope page features subscriptions front and center and not the most viewed videos of the day as before. Most people are not going to look for page 2 or three of their subscriptions. Page one at the top is where you want to be. So in order to level the playing field, YouTube needs to ensure that video bumping is stopped once again.

Why are some YouTube Partners losing money?

TheWillofDC posted a great video two days ago and I would like to respond to it. Now if anyone wants to look at the original version of these 3.0 channel designs when they were in beta you can see them here

So it has improved since then but I do hope one day YouTube gives us more colors and not just this grey. However this is not the first time YouTube has redesigned the channels and it won't be the last.

Now what is causing a lot of drop in views is two fold. First there is the redesign of the home page that YouTube had last month. While the previous layout did promote those who were already popular, the new layout promotes subscriptions up front. In addition to the subscriptions YouTube also is heavily promoting suggested videos based on previous viewing history. This is a great way to find new content.

The new subscription center does have a bug. It has resulted in what is known as video bumping. The home page only holds about 14 videos. So if you subscribe to a few hundred channels like I do it can be kind of tricky to see all the content. Channels that have their sharing features enabled to share any time they comment on a video results in their video being bumped to the top of the list any time they reply to a comment in their video. This bumps others who do not enable comment sharing to be bumped down the list.

Many of the top YouTube Partners got a lot of their views from the home page as YouTube would feature the top 4 videos in every cateogory. People such as CharlesTrippy and iJustine are well known for posting in the wrong category in order to get one of these coveted 4 spots.

Now in order to get to the categories you have to do a few mouse clicks. Not everyone does that. As such those who previously benefited from being in the top 4 for their category are seeing a drop.

The other factor that changed revenue for a lot of people is the new way YouTube promotes related videos. http://support.google.com/youtube/bin/answer.py?hl=en&hlrm=en&answer=2500737

While this change was primarily aimed at combating the Reply Channels it also hampers the ability to be a viewwhore. I have talked to a lot of people who have seen their earnings drop from several hundred a day down to just 20-40 dollars a day. One of my good friends Grahamandfriends sadly went the viewwhore route to earn that big money. He was previously earning 3 times what I was on YouTube but now he is hurting. Claims to have taken a 80% drop in revenue.

Now this is not to say that I haven't occasionally viewwhored myself. However my channel is not based on viewwhoring. A look through my channel will show I think maybe 3 or 4 videos that could be viewwhoring. A bulk of my videos are watched most of the way through and usually have a high number of user engagement.

Another thing I do is I constantly link my videos together in playlists or shows or via annotation. The idea is when someone watches one of my videos, I want them to watch another one next. Here is where my views come from.

I had to edit out a few days when I was hit with that votebot that gave me 800,000 bogus views. However, as you can see my views for the most part have remained constant between 12,000 and 15,000 views per day. Most of my views come from search. A lot of my tutorials are my higher viewed videos. Another large percentage comes from being in Related Videos and you will see that the new algorithm did not change my view counts.

So while I may not have made a much money as the viewwhores did back in the day, I am the one who is not fretting about losing views and money right now. It also appears that YouTube is leveling the playing field even more by not promoting people who were already popular. New talent is being discovered and that is good news for us smaller channels who put out decent content.

Why did Machinima defend MeganLeeHeart till the bitter end?

Over the weekend I had information leaked to me that MeganLeeHeart has signed up with the same network that I am joining. Today I was able to confirm this is true. My new network is well aware of the videos I have made about her and her boyfriend LifeinATent and his twin brother KMartinTV. They are also aware of the full length documentary I intend to publish later this month. A project that I have been working on for months and now I am starting to put it together.

The video's intention is to draw attention that these three work together in tandem and to work with one is to work with all three. It also seeks to make others aware of the threats and harassment she and the twins have sent out to anyone who dared to enter into the "video response business"

Leaked Skype Conversation from LifeInATent about View Bots

I had this skype conversation leaked to me on Saturday but I was asked to hold off on releasing it until Monday. While I do consider the source to be reliable, I can no guarantee that the information her is accurate. I have also made a few edits to remove sensitive information to respect people's privacy.
