Challenge to the Corky Forum


I also made THIS POST on the Corky Forum announcing the event.

Essentially it was a response to the debate Brett Keane had with the forum.



A little backstory on this debate.  A user named MindLiberationArmy made THIS POST to the Corky Forum asking people to join him in a discussion.

Playing With Fire

I don't really have a right to complain here do I.  Back in 2012 when Brett Keane and I first became friends there were many who tried to warn me against doing so.  If I decide to keep a scorpion as a pet I should expect once in a while to get stung.  I should expect no less then when I willingly ignored sound advice and became friends with Brett Keane.

No, I will not be doing that.

Taking down the Corky videos is something that I have done 5 times. In each of those 5 times the response has been the same. Corky wishes to continue to trash my name for reasons I simply do not understand. However, trying to reason with Corky is not something I can do. Rather, I am at a loss as to why anyone still believes his frequent lies.

Corky Asks a Copyright Question

The original video had embedding turned off. So I had to replace it. If he were to enable embedding I would be more than happy to post his video here. With his videos earning money he is only shooting himself in the foot by disabling embeds. You will find no ads on my copy here.

Well let me answer the questions that Corky asked. Based upon the questions that Corky asked, it is clear to me that he did not read the blog nor did he watch the two videos embedded on there. Irregardless, I have no problem answering questions that I already answered.

I actually Answered Brett Keane's Question last year

Brett Keane posted a video today responding to my question. Essentially my question was how he could justify his presence on a website whose sole purpose is doc dropping, trolling, and harassing other users. So far he has avoided this question. Instead Brett Keane asked me a question that essentially I answered a year ago.

Clarifications for Corky

Well Corky posted a video today as a response to the Brett Keane/HappyCabbie debate going on right now on the FacepalmResponse channel.



So lets clear up some of the things he said in error.

Taking down the Corky Videos Again

Well today I decided to give Corky another chance. For those who do not know he recently lost his latest account for threatening another user.

Specifically leaving a comment on a video saying "lots of news stories about victims of bullies putting and end to the bullying once and for all with lethal consequences for the bullies. Take note"

Should I offer Corky a home?

Essentially Corky is going to be homeless again. His new motorhome is not going to be able to pass California emission standards and thus his temporary tags will expire. He has no place to store the vehicle and my previous suggestions on places to park it apparently were not useful.



Now in his video he stated that he does not want to do hard work. He has said this many times. He wants to be an actor or public speaker. While I can certainly understand those goals, I do not understand his unwillingness to take any job that comes to him. He even once gave me a lecture, while he was unemployed, that any job under 10 dollars an hour was beneath him. He was fully aware that I was supporting both of us on 9 dollars an hour.

However, for whatever reason, it is clear that Corky is not going to be able to afford the standard of living he desires for quite some time. As it stands right now he is on the streets with no place to go. There will always be debates on whether his current status is by choice or not. I am not disputing that. All I am saying is this: Is it right for me to refuse him a place to live when I can afford to provide for him?

Back in 2009 he had to move out when I got sick and was no longer able to afford to keep him. I am in a different position now. I can afford to provide for him. I am well aware that if he moves in, he most likely will never move out. I am also well aware that he will not contribute towards the rent. However, I can afford to provide for him again.

Now some of you may remember the two threats of bodily harm he has made to me. Well as you know the first threat came early in 2010 when I was still recovering from being sick. I was weak. I am much stronger now and I do not consider him to be a physical threat. If he were to attempt an attack I am sure I could overpower him with ease.

In June, I intend to move into a new place. When I do I will have room for a couch and a small desk he can use. The only question I have towards you readers is this, is it morally ethical for me to refuse to provide him with a home when I have the means to do so?
