So this guy Rob Bliss of the Washington Times decided one day to attach a camera to a backpack and walk in front of Shoshana B Roberts and film her ordeal as she walked through Manhattan for 10 hours and was the victim of Street Harassment. I have already written a blog about Street Harassment and you can read it HERE, the article has since been rewritten with the old copy still intact followed by the updated version. There are Three points that I wish to raise in this blog as a response to this video. First, in 10 hours of footage, THIS is the final result. I would hardly call this street harassment as almost everyone in the video was being friendly. Second, I find the video to be a tad racist for showcasing only blacks and other dark skinned minorities as surely there had to be at least one white man still in Manhattan. Third, this video portrays the woman as a helpless victim, not once did she speak or retort or stick up for herself if she thought she was being disrespected.

The Gold Standard
I've been wanting to do this blog for some time, really it has been something that I have wanted to say but I didn't know if I should do it on video or here in this blog. I really enjoy blogging but sadly the view counts I get here are less than motivational. Some of my blogs I have spend days working on, this one has been a month of brainstorming and writing and rewriting. For all of this I might hit 100 views. Meanwhile I could film myself barking at a tree and get a couple thousand views. Anyway, I decided that doing this as a blog would be better as I think I might get to emotional doing this story on camera.

Re: the shallow narcissism of female youtube entrepreneurs
Hey Red Pill Grumm, 2012 called and they want their Reply Girls back. I was doing research for another article I posted today http://happycabbie.blogspot.com/2014/09/harassment-is-part-of-internet.html and part of that including digging up a reference from the manosphere website ReturnofKings where I found this article. http://www.returnofkings.com/43795/the-shallow-narcissism-of-female-youtube-entrepreneurs
Long story short, the author Red Pill Grumm believes that women who flaunt their sexuality to get views and adsense money from YouTube are wrong and that it is MEN who actually produce things of substance.

Sometimes No Matter How You Try
Recently I became active on the dating scene again. I spent several years in denial of reality and once I woke up I vowed never to make the same mistake again. It took me quite a bit of effort to overcome many self imposed obstacles. While some dates have worked out well, others were comically disastrous.
First and foremost is my weight. It is nobody's fault but my own that I allowed by body to get to where it is and it is my job to fix it. Secondly is my approaching technique is way off. The only way to get better is to approach approach approach. Most of the time I strike out, however there are times when I meet the right lady who wants some attention. I have been out of the dating scene for so long I am way out of practice and I have to constantly force myself out of my comfort zone.

Is it wrong to rank ladies by their appearance?
As one of my goals is to one day return to the trucking industry I have kept tabs on several news outlets regarding the trucking field. One of them is Overdrive Magazine Recently they did an article interviewing Maggie Stone. She is a finalist in Overdrive's Most Beautiful. You can read the article HERE.
I admit I do have mixed feelings about this. Allow me to explain why.
